Estimating a care grade means describing incontinence, dementia, medication and a relative’s savings. That is health data under Article 9 GDPR, so the site is built so that https://pflegegradrechnen.de never receives it.

2. What you type
Answers to the 64 criteria, care grade, care service bills, pension and savings are processed only in your browser. Nothing is sent to us or anyone else, and nothing is stored. After your first input the calculator writes the values into the address bar so you can share a result; that address stays on your device, and anyone you send it to sees the values in it.
3. Processing
Host logs
When a page loads, GitHub processes technically necessary data (IP address, time, page, browser, referrer) to deliver it and prevent abuse. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; GitHub sets the retention period.
No cookies
The site sets no cookies and stores nothing in browser storage.
Anonymous error measurement (Microsoft Clarity, cookieless)
When enabled, Clarity runs in cookieless mode and records loading errors, load times, dead clicks and scrolling so we can find broken calculators. Inputs and content are masked before sending and each visit gets a new identifier. Provider: Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Recordings are deleted after 30 days, aggregates after 13 months. To object, block clarity.ms or write to us.
4. Recipients
We sell nothing and pass nothing to care funds, care home operators, care services, placement portals or ad networks. The only processors (Article 28 GDPR) are GitHub as host and Microsoft for anonymous measurement.
5. Transfers outside the EU
GitHub, Inc. and Microsoft Corporation are based in the USA and certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; standard contractual clauses apply as well (Microsoft privacy statement).
6. Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability (Articles 15 to 22 GDPR): write to kontakt@pflegegradrechnen.de and we reply within one month. Complaints: Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés (CNIL) (https://www.cnil.fr) or the data protection authority of your German state.
7. No automated decisions
An estimate here has no legal effect (Article 22 GDPR). The Pflegekasse sets the care grade based on the Medical Service report.
